yes, try it! it´s a bit more fiddly than making clothing but as the pieces are so small you get a result in no time which satisfied me the most

D i got the buckles from a traveling fabric market that comes from holland. it´s near my town every few months, they simply have the widest range for this stuff around here... the buckles already had the "leather" straps attached and an extra strap came with it so there was no need for me to buy extra thick fake leather. probably, you will find buckles without the straps more often, i couldn´t believe my luck when i saw them ready-made and had to buy them!!

That's incredible! I see buckles all the time but it's rare to see the straps to go along with it. I'll have to look around at my local shops or buckle down and buy some thick leather to make it myself. I'll keep an eye for something, maybe this sumer I'll get lucky. Also a traveling fabric market sounds really cool we have fairs around her that sell pre-made garments but never just fabric stashes and supplies. That's awesome.
