Well, I'm English, now living in Brisbane and married to an Aussie woman. I do carvings and leather work - mainly leather these days. I love the different subcultures that you find in leather work, from Steampunk to BDSM, I find it fascinating. I'm much more SP than BD though

Funny...ha ha ;D. Glad you like the hat. I developed a neater way of construction after I made the mad hatter one. If you have a look at my Tall Hat project the info is in there. My fascinator hat has got details on bow, flower and ribbon placement and the Samhain hat has details of fitting clips to the underside. Sorry I split the construction elements. I didn't want to over do it on any one project. I've used paper coffee cups as a base with a circle of slightly bigger diameter to create the curving shape, it's also a good excuse for a coffee...Lol. Message me if you need any help.
