I have worked at the public library, in Rapides Parish (county) Louisiana for the past 13 years. My job has primarily been a creative one, teaching workshops for childcare providers, craft workshops and writing newsletters. I have been the primary "mover and shaker" behind our annual Creative Con, a conference for all fandoms. I love to repurpose, recycle and make costumes and props. I've made jewelry, built furniture and sewn clothes. I really can't pick a craft that I don't like!
