Spoon Craft
This simple, easy and inexpensive craft won a blue ribbon at the 2013 Rapides Parish Fair. It can be used as a hanging light, decorative piece or flipped upside down to be a candle holder

    This is all you will need. Pliers or scissors work just as well, so use what you have. Some people can just break the spoons with their hands. Cut the bottom half off the empty bottle.

    Cut or break most of your spoons.

    Start working from the BOTTOM of the bottle. Put a generous amount of glue on for one or 2 spoons. Don't try to do more than that at one time or else the glue hardens on you.

    Put one or two spoons in place and hold until glue holds. Then repeat until you have the first row done.

    The spoons should be close together but not overlapping.

    The second row is now started. It covers the space between the spoons of the first row. Continue with these steps until you reach the top of the bottle.
    If you want, a light fixture can be added by running the electric cord through the bottle top. Finish off the top with more spoons or other decorative pieces.
