Lady Gaga Inspired Duct Tape Dress

a dress and bag made after Mama Monster's own heart!
This is the first dress I have ever made using duct tape, and it was really fun! I made this to wear to a Lady Gaga dance, using one of the dresses she wore as a basis for the design. The original dress is all black, but I decided to add the stripes because it was a gay pride dance. I definitely think incorporating the gay pride flag would be something after Mama Monster's own heart though! I also wore a hair bow, a blond wig, and some gloves. I also made a bag (also out of duct tape) to accompany the dress referencing one of the scenes in her video for Telephone. I got lots of compliments on the dress however the dress split in half before the end of the dance :o I would say duct tape dresses look AWESOME but they are more show pieces, not wearable items! :)
