Because it's annoying when your hair drips water everywhere
I have long hair and it takes a while to dry. And I hate when it drips water everywhere, so I use a special towel until I'm ready to blow-dry my hair. I used to have only one of these hair towels, and it was started to get a little worn out... I thought it must be super easy to sew a new one from an old useless towel.

Step 2
Fold the towel in half for cutting. I used my old hair towel as a model, so you can easily see the correct shape. The long side is about 78cm long and the highest part is about 27cm. Remember to leave some extra for sewing!
It doesn't show in the picture (sorry!) that the right corner should be sharp. See the first picture if you don't get the idea of the whole shape from this.
Draw the line you're going to cut and then cut :) Remember to start cutting from the edge, just like in the picture. It makes a nice edge for the towel and you don't have to sew it.
