Long Winter Swap

Hooray, I am finally back in the realm of swapping after working my butt off in school this semester. Happy

To celebrate this and the long winter ahead (winter out here is usually October through April or May), I'd like to start up a swap for everyone who experiences long winters! If you live in a cold climate, this swap is for you!

Requirements:
1. You need to have completed the Newbie vs. Vet swap and at least one other swap (not Happy Grams).
2. You should have at least 3 published projects and something in your bio.
3. You should have at least 50 board posts.

Swap Items:
*HANDMADE - At least one wearable winter item (hat, pair of mittens, headband, ear muffs)
*HANDMADE - One small winter-themed trinket (ornament, plushie/doll, papercraft item)
*OTHER - Two or more single-serving hot beverage mixes (tea, hot cocoa, cider mix)
*OTHER/OPTIONAL - Small amount of stash or extra little handmade items. Just decide with your partner first Happy

Be sure to check your partner's bio for what they like, and ask them about what they like during the winter months where they live. Have fun and be creative!

Winter this year has been reluctant to stick around. We have the cold temperatures in December now that we usually get in October... and all the snow we got a few weeks ago melted.

At least it's been cold enough to need winter gear. I am a cold-weather person.

I think it tend to be quite a long winter this time, everywhere. it's not so cold here atm, but the weather is unstable. it could be -12 today and 6 degrees C tomorrow. I prefer warm weather as I am from a tropical country-despite the fact I've been living in several countries with 4 seasons - but as long as its not too cold, I'm fine.

Ah, I grew up in a place where winters were never very cold. I could usually go outside in shorts and a t-shirt and feel just fine when it finally did get down to 0C.

It gets to be -50C here sometimes between the winds and dry weather, but in the summer it gets to be around 46C which is way too hot for me! I like it to be between -30 and 19 or 20. lol

OMG are you a yeti? o.O the coldest I've ever experienced is when I live in Winnipeg, its around -40 C and I feel like a walking ice cube...can't imagine -50...
