I just made another one which I like a lot better! I'm getting a little better at figuring out GIMP.

Cool I've got gimp so I'll have to give this a try

I don't know how to use most of the tools on GIMP, but I learn something new each time I use it. I am such an anti-instruction reading person, so I refuse to read the online manual. I didn't draw the cartoon kiddo btw. My friend Robert with JMKit designed that for me. I just resized it to make it fit in the proper space I think GIMP is my new therapeutic tool!

I started making a button, then got distracted=) I have a cartoon me that I used to use as an avatar before I was brave enough to use a photo, so I'll be using that. HTML makes my brain hurt tho=/

I don't know how some people memorize those codes! Even having the tutorial in front of me it took me forever to get it right! Side note: Laurel your blog is being obstinate and won't allow me to post my comments. After I get to the word verification, there's no button to push to enter it. It's been driving me nutty!

My blog is being a **** all over the place. I can't change some of the settings, I click save, it says it's saved, refreshes the page and is exactly the bloody same. I'll go and have a look at the comment settings - won't be a mo=)

Sheez!!! I finally got it! It took me more than long enough to get it; I was about to get homicidal. Needless to say I saved those frickin' codes!! XD

Creative, for some reason your code won't work on my blog. I paste it in, save it etc but when I view the blog there's just an itty bit of stray code on the page, half the code gets eaten somehow=/

Well, dammit! I tested it on mine and it works. Lemme try it again...

Ok, I found the problem... in the code that's posted here, it added extra entries, the br / with < and > on either side where it's not needed. I checked the code when I went to edit it and it's fine there, so I don't know what's going on.
I hope you get that, it wouldn't show up in this post if I put it the actual way it's typed.
I will work on it to get it fixed and let ya know when it is.

Now you've said what the problem was I edited the code on my page. It works now=)
I'm dreading working out code for mine, I get a headache just thinking about it lol

I just messed around with the code and posted Trish's on my blog. It's posted under the "Links" tab on my blog's toolbar. I'm anxious to see Laurel's, but yes, html can be maddening!
