Oh man i love Sarongs! And i can get away with wearing them because i live on the beach! Me and a friend of mine used to wear them ALL the time... bathing suit coverups, parts of an outfit, to sleep in.... couldn't comment on giving birth in one, but hey, if it works! And then you can tie it a funky way and use it as a baby sling! HAHA! YaY for sarongs!!!

I love Sarongs XD I've tried wearing them here... And people looked at me like I was crazy cause there isn't a beach anywhere T__T I think there are some small lacks and rivers hehe but no beach...

I always wear my sarongs as dresses, throw on a belt and use a pin to hold the bottom in place.

stephanie your a trip lol idk about having babys in sarongs either but i once made a swim suit for a baby with a matching saroung and diaper cover it was for a baby contest she won first place too
ok eough bragging lol i was actually pregnant when i made it and i was 15 btw
i frayed the edge and put little rows of beads on it i had fun making it i should do one next summer its becoming colder whaether here wahhhhhhhhhhhhhh

hey Corrie, I thinks my partner has forgotten about me. I finished the bag, and has homemade goodies to put in it, but I hears nothing.

Haha.. Sarongs *sigh* one side of my family is from Vanuatu so i have heaps and still have my first i was given when i was 2 hehe But I have never been able to figure out how to make them work as a baby sling... I have finished my partners bag and have photos but its a surprise hehe. lil proud as i didnt use a pattern which isnt unusual and i made it reversable yay... now for the goodies... hey michelle nice work... altough i hope u hear from ur partner.. if not ask corrie and i can help out...

thanks Stephanie, allready did. Its filled with handmade goodies, well what can be shipped over seas. I hope she loves it. The bag is super cool, Its two bags in one. You and take them apart, and put them together again. There are wooden buttons and everything.
