a new swap

sounds like an awesome idea, but i have to wait till my appointment next week to see when my last surgery is and what is my down time with that..so I will keep you posted on that. Making totes are awesome!

I'm down with that. And KK I'm sure goodies, just means whatever you want. I don't have much time either, but thanks to Bettie** I can pop out a tote in like 15 minutes!

I don't have a sewing machine, which is a problem. Although I'm taking textiles next year so maybe they'll let me borrow theirs?

When I didn't have my sewing machine it would take me about 3 hours, which isn't too bad, but let me tell you sewing machines, make it so much easier. (Once you get the hang of them anyway!) Thankgoodness for Walmart with their cheap prices.

This may sound silly, but what are everyones ideas when you think of a tote? Just so I can get it right lol

as far as totes go it can be any size or shape it doesnt matter and they dont have to be brimming with goodies just what ever you want to put in
it doesnt have to be extravigant just creative and cute ;) unique the goodies can be bought or homemade im sure all of us creative pll will love what ever is in our totes and love wearing them ;)
i would like to have everyone paired up in 2 wks if you want to start working on your totes befor then thats great too also i will make a post befor i pair everyone up giving you 2 days to email me and let me know if theirs certain ppl you would rather not be paired with just so theirs no discrepencys among the swap and to ensure everything runs smoothly once you receive your swappie partner you will trade address privately

you asked what my ideas are on totes i think they are very versitile and theirs no way you can go wrong

for those who dont have sewing machines thats fine like tara said you can hand sew or walmart has plain totes for 1.50 that you could buy and embellish the hell outta !and who doesnt love embellishments
it doesnt matter whaat craft skill you are at noone is expecting perfectly made items so just have fun !!!!!!
