Music related gift ideas?

My Mom has wanted an ipod for EVER and this christmas my Dad is finally going to get her one. I want to get her a CD with a few songs on it so she can put them on her ipod, but every year I make some part in her gift, and she doesn't appreciate it as much when I just buy her something. Does anyone have any ideas for DIYing this? Like maybe some type of CD holder or something?

REmake the retro record notebook and buy the ck case sheets for the inside or buy a genaric cd case and decorate the outside
