Gift ideas for 6yr old girls birthday?
I'm trying to come up with something to make my cousin. She's turning 6 (or 7, I can't remember but I think it's 6). She's a bit of a girly girl, she play with barbie dolls and what not. But she's more of a tomboy, she's on the baseball team, enjoys playing sports, watching wrestling, hates dresses, etc. Any craft or gift ideas? It doesn't have to be home made. Don't say toys, she has enough of those scattered all over her house. I'm trying to come up with something creative but I'm frsh out of ideas. Help?
Maybe make a stencil of something she likes and put it on a shirt for her? I'm not very good with knowing what kids want since it's been a long time since I was one, lol. All I liked growing up were video games and Legos... and books.
Maybe to embrace the girly girl in her, you could make her a diary or a little journal type thing.
Im like Monika, im not very good with kids but ....I just did a craft fair, & a 6 year old fell in love with an alien painting of mine (her mom bought it for her). If u dont want to make her a toy, maybe draw/paint her something? Maybe even a portrait, if ur that good. ;)
Or you could make/get her a sports bag, & decorate it with her name in glitter letters & pics of her favorite things on it. Idk, just throwin round ideas
does she live somewhere it gets cold? I have seen a lot of adorable hat and scarf sets if you can crochet, check out ravelry
Or a crochet princess crown for her birthday! Like this http://www.irarott.com/Free_Princess_Crown_Tiara_Crochet_Pattern.html
Or a crayon and notepad pouch, I've made a few for friends younger kids and they love them, like this one

If she is somewhere where it gets cold, make her a fleece hat that looks like a baseball and a scarf that looks like grass.
Maybe sew her a little drawstring back pack to carry her "gear" in when she heads out to play with the fellas
