I need help Shirring

I am having troubles shirring my first top. Can someone help me? I saw the projects on this website, but I must be doing something wrong. lol. It's just not working out for me. Please post step by step instructions.

Hi Gigi
The best way I found is to have your stitch length longer and reduce the tension on the thread. Use a good quality thread in your spool so it wont snap. It's a trial and error thing with both so test it out on a scrap of the fabric you are using as the fabric type effects the shirring Happy
