CHEERLEADING HAIR BOW

I need a how to to make a unique Cheerleading hair bow for competitions.. it needs to be attached to a hair tie. it would be even cooler if it could de-tach off of the hairtie so they can interchange the bow w/out messing up their hair..if not then thats cool. it cannot have any metal/plastic... HELP!? <333

Could you do something with mini yarn pom-poms? Make a one or two from two colours of yarn, then attach to two peices of similarly coloured ribbon, then attatch to the hair tie?

it can have sequins in it.. but no metal/plasic like buttons/clips/pontail holders w/ metal something like this would be acceptable..i just dont know how to make it! http://powerbows.com/images/9612.gif

you can aways have velcro attacted to the bows so you can wrap them around the hair tie, and then have them stuck to them Happy
