Mothers Day Ideas

Hey All,

I don't know about all of you, but I have a few people to make Mothers Day gifts for.... I thought it might be a nice idea to bounce some ideas off of each other.

I've got the cards covered and I'm decorating a little keepsake box with flowers for my Nanna, I'm thinking Lavender bag for mum and possibly a simple flower embellished tote bag for my Mother in Law. What ideas has anyone else had?

Great idea for a thread!
I have no idea what to make for my motherinlaw.
I was thinking about an apron for mom with gooses embroidered on them (she loves gooses)
And Ill make bouquet from flowers from our garden.

Wow, i havent even thought about anything yet...maybe a bag for grocerys for my mom. as for my step-mother...no idea maybe some seeds

I have no idea, I have to do something nice for my mum coz she's AMAZING and something for my dad's wife (I dislike calling her my step-mum we don't get on brilliantly - but I've got to do it for my dad's sake really.)

I listed a "creation" a couple of days ago for an alternative "mother" pendant....I didn't do a "how to", but it's quite easy to make if your mum likes something a bit different!

Mother's day is the 14th of March. I've made my Mum a teacup candle. A heart felt cushion and am going to make her a handmade card with Japanese girls on it. She loves those moomiji style people! I think for Mums tho you can't go wrong with a lovely handmade card. Or even just a nice cake or cookies. It doesn't have to cost the earth to show you care about your Mummy!

last year i made my mom a ceramic vase with her favorite flowers on it and i painted it a salmon color, and i cut a bunch of flowers from our backyard, it was really cheap and she loved it sooo much. for my mother in law i made her a ceramic mini bowl and painted a cherry blossom tree with the pink flowers and painted it blue since its her favorite color, i filled the bowl with her favorite chocolates which are ferrero rocher ( i think thats how you spell it) anyway, she loved her bowl too. im not sure what to do this year......
