Gift Suggestion for a 9 year old girl who has everything?

My niece is turning 9 and her mom has a little shopping problem... hence she has everything a little girl could wish for except perhaps for a pony.
So I've just gotten back into making things again and would like to make her something special and from "Me" he fave aunt.
Problem is, I'm completely stumped!

A Blanket using fabric with her fave things on it. You can never go wrong with a nice snuggly blanket!

if youre into jewellery-making you could do a charm bracelet, and a really special charm to start off a collection for it?? thats just my opinion as a beading fanatic!

If she is into dolls I guess you could make a few outfits for it...
Maybe a tutu??

Depends on what she likes, rather than trying to make her something new, you could always alter something she already has - like making outfits for her dolls? If that makes any sense...

Make her something personallized. Sounds like she is bombarded with meaningless stuff, if you could give her something that relates to her, that would be good. For instance, if she is starting to like crafts, make her a personalized tote bag filled with supplies. Try to decide on a positive feature or interest about her, then make something that expresses that. If you apply this to any of these ideas from our fabulous crafting community, she'll love it. Girls like to be reminded of how special the are. Good luck, gifts can be very difficult!

How about a personalized plaque that she can hang on her bedroom door with her name and perhaps a message (like "Do not Enter", "A princess sleeps here")?
