random bag of fabric ends?
i was at the biggest fabric warehouse ever today (Gleeee!!!!)
unfortunately all i had time ( 3 hours? are you kidding me? i don't have super speed D to get was a bag of fabric ends to experiment with. i was a buck fifty and has some lace a gorge jewel yellowy/orange ribbon i need to finish off a pair of gloves. i'm probably going to bore you if i keep going on in such detail so..
in short:
i need some ideas of what to do with these:
orange tulle
doily lacey thing
umm this stuff?
oh and just because it's beautiful, here's the ribbon and lace
ps. in case you're confused (because i was to) the words are links to the pictures XP
you could make a headband
make a headband or a pretty bow!
If you've got a doily or something doily like check out the how to on here for using a doily as a stencil and spraying bleach over to get a really cool pattern on a t shirt. I haven't explained that well but just type doily into the keywords bit when your on the projects and it will probably come up.
I think you should make a headbandd, or try and find a way to use the lace and make a ring. the ribbon could be used to make a necklace or bracelet. the weird green stuff could be used as a cool necklace, or an accent to a piece of clothing. http://www.cutoutandkeep.net/projects/pendant_necklace_using_an_old_cd
you could use a plain cd to make something like that then wrap it in lace and hot glue it. I dunno, good luck! hope I helped =)
You could make a fabric braclet. My friend does that, but with peices of cotton and braids them, abit like friendship bracelet type things. Or a cool hair clip, make it into a bow with bits hanging down, abit Japanese-y style perhaps??
The lime green fringe trim could go on the bottom of a skirt or around the rim of a hat or purse.
