Christmas fair tips & tricks needed

Hi everyone.
The 7th and 8th of december there is a christmas fair here and I will have a stand there with my friend. I need some tips & tricks on the best way to display and sell our stuff.

The stand is 3 meters long. We have mostly jewelry and some paintings, handmade bowls and a few other decorations for sale.

Last year we were at a one day fair and sold very little. Most people just walked past our stand. This year we want to do better. So I love to hear some tips from you guys.

Make sure you have adequate jewelry displays, like upright wire racks for earrings, a fake hand for rings, some cylinder forms for bracelets, etc. There are some craft stores that sell packs of plastic necklace and earring displays that stand on their own.

Set your table up from the side customers are going to walk up to. Avoid putting too many things right next to each other... give everything some room to breathe so to speak. Group similar items together. Have a few items on the table that are strictly for decoration--stuffed snowmen, reindeer, etc.

Having a well-made sign and a good table cloth is important as well. If you're trying to be taken seriously, don't make a sign where every letter is in a different font--that just looks messy and immature.

Our stand looks great, but we have the most shitty place of the whole fair. In the backcorner next to the stand where they make fries and hamburgers :-|
So we have (again) not a stand were the most people pass. But still everything we earn tomorrow is profit Happy
