Board Spammers

Can we please get a moderator delete the message threads that were clearly started by spam bots? There have been a lot of them popping up on our boards lately and it would be nice to not have to see those spam posts. In fact, I think it would be nice if we could have a good clean up of the boards in general- old threads that no longer matter as they happened years ago and the question is now moot would be appreciated.

That's a good idea, we need to do a lot of work on the boards anyway. Are you an admin Danion? I'm not sure if the delete button is broken but I'll figure it out...

I am not an admin. If you need me to be I will, I can clean out the boards in-between cleaning house and changing diapers.

Same; admin without a delete button. I wouldn't mind clearing out some spam posts when I pop over to the forums. Happy

Ahhh, okay. I'll let Tom know now so he can fix the delete button.

Danion - I'll make you a moderator. For now, can you only delete the spammy messages rather than the old ones, if that's okay?
