Issues with the new site layout...

When I scroll down, I see plenty of projects...but it seems like new ones are added lower down in the mix. Like I'll get online one day, scroll down, look through everything, and be done. The next day, I'll scroll down, and see a NEW project wedged between a couple I saw the day before that are all way down the page.

What's up with this? Is it based on when the projects are being submitted or what?

I also wanted to whine about the infinite scroll thing, but that's probably just me.

I liked the old page-by-page layout way better. The infinite scroll thing is nice sometimes, but it's such a pain when I look at the site on my phone (which is how I stay in touch here over the weekends).

I agree with you, Monika. Although it would be nice if we had a choice between which mode we used, in case users had a preference.

I found a fix for it- above where everything loads up, it says "All Projects" "How-Tos" "Creations" and "Versions" in a row...I just clicked one of those buttons, and the two of mine that were published today showed up near the top. I clicked back to "All Projects" and they were where they should have been, on the "first" page (before the endless scroll kicks in). So my bookmark bar initially went just straight to "cutoutandkeep.net". I changed it to "cutoutandkeep.net/projects" and it all shows up as it seems it should!

Sorry to the mods/admins if my post was silly/unnecessary, I didn't realize this before I posted it. New projects do still show up a little lower than it seems like they should if you just go to "Cutoutandkeep.net" by itself, but at least there's an easy fix for it.

It appears with the new site layout, etc. that you can no longer delete favorites anymore? There are projects that I've completed, or since recently moving won't need anymore, plus kids getting older- so how can I delete the favs I don't have a need for anymore? Personally, I use my favorites to keep track of projects I want to do, and those providing inspiration for other projects.

Also, it would help if we could organize our favorites- especially since the LISTS aren't working and haven't been for some time, into different categories, subjects/topics, etc. Maybe also include where you can sort them ALSO into sections for: completed projects, inspiring projects, gift ideas for family/friends, etc. Either than, or please get the lists back up and working.

Another thing that would be nice, I do like the scrolling feature AT TIMES, but there are other times where you know about where a project is posted, but you have to wait through 10 or more scrolls before you can find it. Maybe have the scroll feature so that it can be turned on or off depending on the user's preference?
