More bugs
For some reason, whenever I scroll down on lists of projects, the exact same ones are uploaded over and over in an endless loop.
I've tried reloading the page, quitting the browser, and using a different browser, so I don't think it's a problem on my end.
Has this been happening to anyone else?
Yup, me too. Also, the projects show up randomly. Like the featured kitty scarf when I'm in the kids and babies how-tos or the button box and redo old shoes how-tos in the savory foods section.
This isn't happening to me at all
Hmmm those two bugs are really strange, we're not having them on our end. Which browsers are you both using?
I tried it on Safari and Firefox
I've had the following problems:
When I'm looking at the latest projects, after I click one and then go back none of the other projects are clickable. Refreshing the page doesn't work, I have to re-click the projects page and load from the beginning.
I'll be looking in a certain project section and when I scroll down it'll show the recently added projects
Also, I'm working on posting a project and every time I try to preview it it goes to a "forbidden" page
The new project layout is causing a bit of lag for me. The old layout loaded a lot faster for me since it didn't load so many on one page--now I have to wait until the full page loads before I can tab over or Firefox freaks out.
I liked the old setup better
I'm in IE 9.
I'm actually working on a much bigger update to the code behind the project browser - and I'm pretty sure it should sort all these issues.
Also, I've spent a fair bit of time on image optimisation. The newer images should be much smaller downloads. When the new things go live, I'll tweak all the older images too. Should make a big difference!
Keep me up to date though - I'll be working to keep everything working smoothly until the big update goes out.
I'm using chrome and having issues with the same things loading over and over when I scroll down. Same in Firefox. Both current.
The repeating projects bug should be sorted.
Thanks for letting me know!
