New user bar

Hey everyone,

So we've just launched a new user bar (log in to see it) which will hopefully make the site a lot easier for you all to navigate. We're going to be doing more with it soon but would love to hear your thoughts?

No offence but I think you should be fixing some of the basic flaws (like not being able to view all the pics in a project) before adding unnecessary cosmetics.
Also there are bits of stray html code floating around all over the place and the fonts you use for headings won't show ampersands, quotation marks etc.

When someone puts a comment on my profile... if I click on my name on the bar, it doesn't go to my profile page and I've got to go to 'My Home' then click on my picture to get there, it's a bit frustrating... However, I like the drop downs but they don't like my iPod Touch! hehe! x

PS, when I hover over 'Projects' it shows me the first ever project I posted... anychance it could be the otherway round? The most recent projects rather than the oldest ones? x

Oh okay, I'll see if Tom can make it go directly to your profile when you click on your name - I think we're planning to re-do the whole system anyway.

Are the projects it's showing you still "in-progress"? I think it shows them first but I'll let Tom know that they might be in ascending rather than descending order.

I've noticed recently that some people like the crafty superstars have got a really cool top bit when they add a new project. Is this something in the pipeline too? Btw I like the new user bar thing too Happy

Yeah you're going to start seeing lots more "branded" celebrity and expert projects, so keep your eye out for them!
