what the heck...

Is it just me or is the site being really weird lately? there are pictues in projects that dont belong, projects posted twice, I posted a project and it said it's up but i can't find it, my avatar is the wrong pic even tho i went back and changed it!!!! URG so frustrating!

It's not just you. I noticed it too. I messaged Tom about it, though I don't know if I should ask him those questions or post them here or ask someone else.
Still a tip to have people help you quicker: use meaningful topic names so people know what the question is before opening your post (they might just skip it otherwise) and give clear examples of what is wrong where and what you'd expect.
I'm a webprogrammer myself and 'It broke!' is much less useful than 'Some of my projects (examples) show the wrong thumbnails. I also noticed this on other projects.'.

Also, since I don't need to pay for this site I'm guessing that it's a grown-out-of-proportion project with a few people working on it (someone correct me if I'm wrong) and thus glitches and bugs may occur. I think that the programmers of this site really do their best, but probably also have a payed job. ;-)

Maladignia, Tom has been working hard over the last few weeks updating the site to provide new features and speed up the site. See his message on this board. He is aware that there are clitches.

If you have anything in particular just message him, he will get back to you and help with problems. I had problems with not being able to see my project on the main site pages but it eventually caught up Happy

Hi folks,
Working hard on this - we've moved to a new server last week, which has improved the speed a lot, but there's a few changes.

Some pages will be cached for around 20 minutes - category pages, tags etc. So, you might not see a project that's just been published immediately and simultaneously across the site. It's a slight compromise, but it means not having to upgrade to a much larger server...

Yeah I wasn't too worried about it, It's not that big of a deal, just voicing my opinion! Things seem to be back to "normal" thank you Tom for all your hard word on CO&K we all love you for it! Happy
