@*Rachie Pin-Up* Well I know I'm too short for high fashion so I'm not even going to try to get down to the weight limit. I'm 5'4, bust 34 D, Waist (natural) 29 in, hips are 35 in. I'm really curvy so i'm not sure what kind of modeling I should be going for.
I know this sounds kinda cliche, but I've dreamed of being a model/actress for a long time. Trouble is I don't know how to really get started. I've done some modeling for local photographers for $50 a shoot, and I acted in High school. However, I feel stuck like I can't get any farther in this career, and I'm not exacting making a living at it.
So I was wondering if anyone knew how I could jump start my career. Keep in mind I live in Delaware USA and relocating isn't an option.
HELP!!!
I got mine at Wal-Mart, but they have downsized the craft section dramatically since then so not sure if they would still have them.
@Dessah H. That cake is so great. You can't tell it is a cake at all.
I would have to say (http://www.cutoutandkeep.net/projects/from-bikervest-to-punkdress) Bikervest to Punkdress by PienderZ. This was really hard to choose since only things a really intend on making get put in my favorites.
I'm going to message you.
What kind of candy wrappers? What style would you like the dress? What kind of fabric would you like?
Thanks for all the ideas. I'll certainly take them into consideration. My fiance's father is a preacher, so I can use the church for right now for my classroom. My biggest problem is marketing because I'm sorta shy, but I know I want this bad enough so I'll make it work.
I know of a web site that can help you find classes that use their program. Go to www.youcanmakeit.com/learn.asp to find out more about it.
Hope that helps.
So I guess no one has any advice?
I'm new to this site, and I just wanted to tell y'all about a business I'm starting. I've been in college for the past 3 years now studying English Education. I love to teach people the knowledge that I have, or else I feel like there is no reason for that knowledge. I also love to create things, whether it is a Christmas card or an entire outfit. I've been sewing since I was 7 ( my mother taught me how) and I have been experimenting with other crafting techniques for the past few years.
So one day I had a brilliant idea to put these two loves together and start a business. I'm going to open a studio that aims to teach people the basics of sewing. It will be open to anyone: age range from 6 on up. It is just in the starting phases right now, and I am fund raising for supplies right now. (If you want to help out just go to: www.supportourgroup.com/ZM3171 )
The only website that I have up at the moment is a facebook page under the heading of Hummingbird Sewing Studio.
If anyone has question, suggestions, or advice please let me know.
Thanks everyone!!
I think this is a great idea and I would participate. What would be the guidelines?
@Angel Eve I'm looking for a partner. I'm a newbie to the whole swapping thing, but I've been making things since I was seven.
Hi, I'm new to the site, but I already have 3 projects up. This site has inspired me to really get crackin' with my crafting.
