I write poetry all the time, and I keep them even if they are horrible. Sometimes I have my fiance write music to some of them. It's is a great form of therapy and getting your thoughts out of your head.

I write as a hobby, and I have training in literature from my degree (its made be a bit skeptical and cynical of contemporary writers) and there are many things wrong with Stephanie Meyer's writing. Hell, if Stephan King agrees with me then I know I'm not crazy.
I agree with y'all on the Twilight saga. I got halfway through the first book and already knew information that you weren't told til the second one.
However, Dante's Divine Comedy is like any other theological text, it reads slow but it is very thought provoking and deep.
