There is a great book called "The Handmade Marketplace." It was reviewed recently in the CO+K Book Review Blog. Read it Here:

This is US based but it does cover taxes here...dunno if that will help you.
I write poetry all the time, and I keep them even if they are horrible. Sometimes I have my fiance write music to some of them. It's is a great form of therapy and getting your thoughts out of your head.
You can find a book here http://www.amazon.com/Make-Your-Patterns-Step-Step/dp/1845374568/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1284153572&sr=8-1
Hope this helps
stephie N. I completely agree with you. I write as a hobby, and I have training in literature from my degree (its made be a bit skeptical and cynical of contemporary writers) and there are many things wrong with Stephanie Meyer's writing. Hell, if Stephan King agrees with me then I know I'm not crazy.
I agree with y'all on the Twilight saga. I got halfway through the first book and already knew information that you weren't told til the second one.
However, Dante's Divine Comedy is like any other theological text, it reads slow but it is very thought provoking and deep.
I love it, I'm in the middle of making a can tab armor costume for Halloween
I found an article that might help you at http://www.treehugger.com/files/2007/11/make_your_own_pad.php
You can write about fashion, books, shows like project runway, or any other pop culture. You can also write about cool crafting finds, how-to's, or inspiring images.
I tend to write short stories that teach a lesson, but that's just me

Since I'm a college student with only a very part-time job, I find that I have to get creative with my old wardrobe or thift store finds in order to freshen up my closet.
My challenge to you is to create a great back to school outfit/bag/whatever out of something old you never wear or use anymore. You can also go to a local Goodwill or thrift store to upcycle.
I'm starting with a Book bag.
Have fun!!!
I wanna play!
