Hey Kristina, ohh which apps are you using and recommend?
Oooh @Ariel - being a barista, are you able to do latte art? That's something I'd love to learn
Aww thanks everyone. My furry companion has been nursing me back to health and I'm feeling much better
I had a really good windowsill herb garden until I got some mint which was filled with greenfly. I'd love to start a new one, without evil mint this time.
Also, I don't know if you've ever heard of this but my Mum has started growing her own spring onions by placing the ends of the stalks in small dishes of water on the windowsill. I'd never heard of it before but they've been growing amazingly!
Sorry I've not been too chatty recently, I've been struck down with a nasty cold and sleeping most of the time.
Luckily, this week we're at the film festival so all I'm required to do is sit in the dark and watch movies - which is exactly what I do at home when I'm sick.
Anyway, what are your cure all tips?
Rebel Wilson is awesome! I see and love so many films so this is a tough one but the most recent was Ant Man, which was pretty funny. I'm really looking forward to Suicide Squad - does that count?
I know and what's even worse @MischievousRaven is that Sky only have the seasons available to watch for 2 more days, meaning that even if I didn't sleep, I couldn't catch up in time
Ohh let me know how the yarn crawl is @libby-w - I was planning to go to that until my Mum's birthday began to span 2 days. She loved her cakes and presents
@MischievousRaven what fun things have you got planned for Tuesday & Thursday?
Ohh good idea @Rita.Ritsma - also I just noticed the . in your username has broken your profile but don't worry @tom is on the case to get it fixed!
So I just started binge watching House Of Cards so I could catch up and join in the conversation. Just finished series 1 after day 2... I want my own dragon!
Aww poor you - which day of the week is normally your fun day? It's my Mum's birthday, so we're taking her for lunch tomorrow and then coming back to our place for cake and presents. I've just finished baking a ginger & lavender bundt!
And then on Sunday, we're taking my Mum for an adventure day in Glasgow with a tour of House For An Art Lover, afternoon tea, a mini shopping spree in Whole Foods and maybe an outdoor movie with a picnic in the evening.
I've just started experimenting with seitan (after finding it at Whole Foods) and it's amazing - the texture is just like meat and there's so much you can do with it. I'm about to share a recipe for pulled "pork" burgers!
Squee I love those Russian dolls - the smallest one is soooo small!
