Where about are you staying in the city?
Hey @PlaidCrafter - I love all of your books. I really like machine embroidery too. Standing back and watching the machine do all the work is so mesmerising.
However, I'm always unsure what to do when the thread breaks, do you have any tips for rescuing a project mid-stitch or, even better, avoiding the thread breaking all together?
Also I love that illustration on your desk @secondhandsusie - who drew it?
Hehe @secondhandsusie @MischievousRaven - I was brave and bagged up all of my DVDs for my friends to sell at a yard sale. I'd been putting it off for ages but there's really no need with Netflix etc!
Hey Jet, so nice to see you back and I've always loved your positivity and kindness. We'll be thinking of you when you're having your operation and please keep us updated!
I am so jealous @ChristineMarie - I really hope they open a Michaels over here sometime!
@secondhandsusie - bargain, some places charge £5 for just the tea!
I still need to watch this... hopefully I'll get a chance today but I'm throwing my friend a 90's themed birthday party, so I might have to wait until tomorrow when I'm all hungover
I have a really long to-make list for June but the projects I'm looking forward to the most are baking cakes for my Mum & Dad's birthdays which are both this month , create a makeover with some awesome cat eye contact lenses we were sent, making a pencil case for Adam Green and hopefully finishing off my Burberry inspired trench coat that's perfect for the weather at the moment
Hey @secondhandsusie - I love making pom poms but can never thing of that many crafts to use them for afterwards, what kind of things do you make with them?
Also, my Mum's a library assistant too and loves gardening, reading and Doctor Who. You guys should be friends
What should @MischievousRaven get up to on her trip to Edinburgh later this month?
I recommend cake at Lovecrumbs, an underground tour of the vaults (if you haven't already), cocktails at Panda & Sons and heading up Calton Hill or the roof of the National Museum to take a panoramic photo of the city!
Ohh I love Hobbycraft & Paperchase too but I've never shopped on their websites. Usually I buy supplies online from eBay or Amazon - because I have Prime and can't wait to start new projects
