The Outsiders Costume

Hey, we're reading The Outsiders in language arts right now, and the people who pass the test are going to watch the movie and dress up as socs and greasers. Do y'all have any ideas for a girl's greaser costume? Thanks!

OMG!!!!!!!!! yes!!! The Outsiders TOTALLY AWESOME! Wait till GATSBY!!!! ahh! (even though the movie is coming out).

The look is "pin up" with a hit of country girl, and if you are getting all dressed up you go leather jackets and tight leather pants too. Think of Grandma (young) with a huge attitude. lol

Cry Baby (the movie) and Greese should help a lot, do a search if you haven't seen the movies! This should be so much fun. you will have to post pictures of your outfit/project!

NOOO!! jean jacket rip sleves off... and add saftey pins and pin patches on (not sew) ummm black pants chucks (converse all stars) your hair and make up will make the difference.. and vintage looking tee should go... you could even cut it up.. I'll look for some no sew ideas and maybe even raid my closet and put together a sample last min greeser.... when is this costume day!!? Do we need to hurry?
