Being a Woman

Does anyone else feel a real pressure on them, as a woman. I feel pressured to have kids some day, pressured to be the one to drop them off and pick them up every day and work less and be the one who has to do all the housework etc etc even though i'm years off having kids yet and my current boyfriend is very nice and if it gets to that stage I doubt he'd leave it all to me. There's other things too but I can't really remember what and I don't want to go into some of the other things, even when it isn't direct pressure or whatever it still feels like I have to put up with certain things because of being female. How do I cope with this feeling! I'm proud of who I am and to be a woman and of all those women before us that have made our lives much easier but I can't help feeling like this sometimes. It pisses me off when you mention something like '90 years of woman voters', which is what I had as my msn name when it was exactly 90 years and i got this guy with a retort name that wasn't fair and in a really sexist way when i wasn't being sexist or over looking men, i was just pointing out something I was proud of and feel good about. Life is hard for both sexes but sometimes men really don't understand what women have to go through, obviously it's not easy when you're a bloke and aren't going to give birth or anything but still it's not hard to get a little bit of understanding.

OMG that was tmi! At least women are less likely to get diseases becaue of a double x chromosome..although thats pretty much all we have going for us. Some of us are as low as ratsHappy

All I know is that from my many years of being a woman, I've found that you have to make YOURSELF happy, you can't rely on anyone else to do it for you. And don't pamper a man by making his food, bringing it to him, cleaning up after him and the like unless that's what you want to do for them for the rest of your life. (I'm speaking from experience here)
I do it all and most often get told I'm not doing good enough because I all to often choose crafting over laundry (CO&K isn't helping! LOL) and other "chores", and I have to ask for help if I want any and on the rare occation that I do ask, I get a huff and reluctance.

I certainly know what you're talking about queenfairypants! Just put on some great music, eat your favorite treat and be thankful for all your wonderful qualities and don't sweat the small stuff.

being small sucks! Im sooo skinny, and like, its nice sometimes, but seriously, i wish i was chunkier sometimes! When your over thin bones poke out and hit the bed and stuff, and when your guys is hugging you he has to be careful not to press hard on certain area's. And when you skinny the WRONG guys always come after you. (Until your like me and blow every guys ego cause you wont go out wiht an ass that damn near ever guy hates you because word gets around that you are (and i quote a name i've been called from before i had a boyfriend) " A slutty bitch"

its impossible to change someones mind unless they want it truly changed. its just my small opinion of being skinny. I hate being a girl though. I mean, even though like our periods are totally natural, we are treated sooo gross by having them to. And also as women, have you ever noticed that sometimes we have to work twice as hard to get half the respect a guy gets? i know woman that has been working at a bank 10 year longer than the manager, but he still gets treated like he's been there longer! And she is much better than him, in my humble bias opinion.

It's weird how when people are skinny and tall they wanna be shorter and not as skinny and people who are bigger and shorter want to be taller and thiner! LOVE YOUR BODIIIIES. Sometimes that's just the way you are built!

I don't understand why people get so grossed out by farts, poo or bogies, we all do it or have them!

I dont mind boobgies but poo and farts make mecry. Yea, Methatsall begining skinny is almost as bad as being fat because your always tired, plus you dont grow no butt or boobies. Don't wanna end up like me 5'5 108 pounds and a 34A cup size. In my opinion if you want to be skinny wait till your boobs are fully developed
