Yeah feminists who hate men are annoying cause they ruin it for the rest of us.

My friend Alan is such an idiot, he was like "There were some feminists who asked for equal rights, so we gave it to them, but they still keep complaining" I don't think he even means to be offensive. He was also like "Oh well, women were eventually gonna start producing punk music" Women have produced punk music for as long as guys have!

ya, they just aren't as well known because no one listens to female punk music. I hate feminists who try and change verything to be most benfital for women, and end up just pissing eveyone off.

Well the conversation started cause I was listening to Bikini Kill. But there's L7, Patti Smith, Hazel O'Connor and loads more (not necessarily punk music but you know). It's not like a new thing

I reckon that if women were in charge of the world, instead of men, there'd be less guns and less war.

lol! Ya know considering how interested in politics I am, I don't get what Maggie did apart from make the poor poorer and the rich richer but I think that's enough to realise she was crap. The fact is it wasn't cuz she was a woman, it was because she was crap and there might be people reading this thinking that it was because she was a woman when that's ridiculous. Men and women are different and think differently but I think its the masculine/feminine thing that defines you and who you are as a person first.

Distillers came into the mainstream and there was this 'women can't play guitar' issue and girls were going 'omg i wanna have black hair and red lipstick and my lip peirced' haha I was one of them, but I discovered punk other than the sex pistols and that's what matters not the sex. Maybe some men feel threatened by it cuz if you look at when rockstars first appeared they were l like pimps! Yet there's been loads of female musicains and singers but when they 'real rock' everyone goes 'oooh how weird'. I HATE this whole thing the observer or someone said that KT Tunstall was the 'female james blunt' first had they even listened to a James Blunt song then one of hers and second, why compare her to someone at all! They never say the male guitarist of whatever! Or the male version of KT Tunstall!

I'm very self indulgent without having an ego (well I hope that no one thinks I have a huge ego, cuz I don't). They say people with depression are very self indulgent and I've been depressed before. I'm constantly trying to understand myself. I have hope that not every man in the world thinks women should be in the background. I'd actually be quite happy to have a couple of years off from everything but looking after my children. I said to my boyfriend that if we had children I could go to work and he could stay at home, he liked that idea very much haha. But, women don't always earn as much as men so. And I said if I had 2 years off like my mum did when she had me then obviously I wouldn't expect him to do all of his share and go to work.
