the so called "Hip" kids Rant

Ok, what is with these kids, teens and twenty something-soon to be yuppies. They think they are so cool with their skinny jeans, ideantical buddy holiday glasses, run of the mill Bling, the smart phones, the knee high boots...you know they all look the same.

My roomates daughter is like that, she is 20 and decided to come home and stay with us. She is so snobby, thinks she is so better then the rest of us. When she came here she threw a hissy fit because her mom was like, you gotta get a job and pay for your own clothes[that she buys from American Eagel and the Gap.] She tottaled her car before she left, and doesn't have one now. And the other day she invited all her friends over and it was like,

woah. Cookie cutter magazine glossy people. All of them are rich kids with fancy cars and expensive clothing.

I wanted to kill myself. Really. I can't stand to be around people like that

Seriously I know what you mean. Here in Vegas its the hot topic punks everywhere. I want to tell them you are punk! Real punks don't buy their clothes like that. Real punks don't need a shirt that says that. And if you clothes say rebel on them. You are not.

The reatard monkey at work is like that. She OBESSED over clothes, and like when we had our christmas party, until that night, all she talked about what she was going to wear. It was annoying. And than she's like, i'm unqui, everyone else just follows what i do. (Full of herself much, eh?) I ahte her, she makes me want to blow up the better portion of humanity

yeah.... that works ^^ but to many people get caught up in the idoiticy. I'll proctect cut out and keep members and their love ones, the rest are toast ;) lol.

Arg. So, i went to work, to pick up some bread for a friend (who HAS to be Vegan cause she's allrigic to animal proteins so my cool bread person made one up and asked her to try it) but i'm getting ill so im in sweats, m favorite purple hoddie and just have my hair pulled back, I mean i dont like gross but according to the retard monkey she's seen elphants with better taste (im not really upset,i mean the fact that she said that pissed me off. Not so much what she said, lol.) Im just wondering why she seem to think how you dress every mintue of the day is.

i know what you mean. those people annoy me so much, especially the hot topic posers. dont get me wrong i love hot topic. bu ti also love forever 21, and DIY, and claires, and icing

i have my own style, and nobody can change that. i just hate the people who think they can, and when they realize they cant, they just copy it [but obviously they cant pull it off as well as me XP]

I'm in middle school, and the two worst styles are "Emo" and "prep". All the emo's spend hours at hot topic, complaining about everything and cussing everyone out. I remember when to be considered emo you had to read a million animes and draw really well, but there are these awfull imitators who just buy spiked cuffs and read twilight. Then theres the preps. Basically, skinny, blonde (two thirds are) C cup (did i mention i'm in MIDDLE SCHOOL?!) bra wearing girls who, and im not joking, all wear the exact same gray abercrombie cable knit sweater (IDENTICAL!) every day and fake laugh and complain that their parents only got them "a 80gig ipod and gift cards to claires along with some stupid wii games (she said stupid!) instead of an 120gig ipod and a new touch screen phone" Can you believe that?! and they're all obsessed with twilight. EVERYONE but me is obsessed with twilight. It makes me sad.

Not to offend spiked cuff wearing twilight fans, but there are some who are total wannabees and are like OMG I CUT MYSELF I NEED THERAPY. It's like they're making fun of an illness, and it hurts me, my cousin cuts.

and allot, not all, of the emos turn up their nose at any bubbly blond, im not just talking about the preps. Literally, if you're blond and wear pink, you're dead in their eyes. My barely emo acquaintance was talking to me and these girls started laughting about something and she muttered stupid blonds! She didn't even know what they were talking about! (i found out it was Sarah Palin's I can see Russia from my house thing later)

anyways. i agree with you stephie. emos have okay style, but them and preps are soo judgemental!!
