who feels like ranting about their customer service jobs
we all need to treat ourselfs...and I get paid tomorrow. Arrrggggg I work tomorrow, Friday night. The crazies are out. HELP ME
i need to start christmas shopping, thankfully im ordering most of it online. tomorrow we have free dress, then the next week off for thanksgiving!
online shopping is big this year.
I hope I am not in the retreat section today. I hate doing that section, its always a mess. Its like people watch u fold all the shirts and then they swoop in and destroy. aaaarrrrrrrggggggggghhhhh
Sounds like Primark, I feel sorry for all the people who work there because it's constantly busy and when people have finished lookng at stuff thwey just chuck it back down and don't bother folding it back the way it was or anything.
I worked both days this weekend, and today was a nightmare. We had a lot of hamsters that only came on sale today after they came out of their quarantine period. So in the half an hour after we opened, I sold 4 hamsters. This was while I was trying to rush around getting feeding and watering done... I was in such a rush to get everything done that I accidentaly let a bird escape while I was getting its water bowl out. I had literally just opened the door and whoosh, it was gone before I had a chance to catch it. Luckily it got hungry and retreated to its cage a few hours later, but I still felt really bad.
Last week I got an email from a customer complaining her order got to her too fast.
OMG...TOO FAST.
Two days before she got it I told her she would be getting her package very soon because she only lived a state away. I said we normally get tracking numbers 1-2 days after it's sent so I'll would get it to her when I got it. Well her package came before they gave me the tracking. So she complained she got her package before she got tracking. OMGWTF. Most people are like "YAY got my stuff fast!"
Then she also complained it was hard for her to pick up her packages from the office they were delivered to.
I wrote back to her pretty much politely saying "Lady we deliver to the address you gave us. If it was gonna be a pain to get it from there you should have chosen another place, we would have sent it"
thats nuts, I would be like cool. I got it
today I had to refold a bunch of sweaters that our "folders" did. Sears hires people who will fold for the sales associates. And all they do is talk to each other
ok, well know my boss is adding to it. Cause shes stressed and isfreaking out over the smallest things. Like the whip cream no tbeing in the right spot. arg.
no way. ok, stress makes people coco
ya. I am so mad at her, like i need her on top of crappy costumers, cold air deflating bread, and everything else ><
wow. im sorry Jas and michelle thats terrible!
thank god for child labor laws...or else i would have to go through that too. its bad enough that the teachers are all stressed and taking it out on us...
It feels like people now are so harassed-that putting people down makes them feel good about theirselfs...
the other day at work one of the girls was sorting out a mess of shirts and these two women asked her were the levi jeans were? She said over there by the sign. Well apperntly their heads were up there a$$es because they got to were I was folding and said that they could not find the jeans and that THE OTHER GIRL should of helped because she was helping anyone.
WE DO MORE THEN HELP people pick out an outfit, how do they think the clothes get out on the floor? Magical shop faries? We have to clean, tidy, refold and restock...while helping people.
AND I hate it wgen people come up to me and ask do u work here. I WOULD THINK my Sears name tag and red scarf would give it away, or the fact I am folding mens underwear! like helloooooo
Iz - the girl I work with in the evenings a couple of days a week has a few friends who work at Primark and they are on about £3.10 an hour!!!! They are under 18, it's disgusting that they get away with it.
I always feel like a pain in the arse when I ask staff questions, I read people wrong sometimes though and I'm paranoid as hell so lol
Mega points day is a friggin nightmare, people panic, they get a tenner extra in points to spend on their advantage cards and act like other shops don't exsist, they fight over trolleys, we run out of bags, something will always go wrong, it's tomorrow, but at least I get to wear my nice big pink tshirt
I feel a bit chained to that place, it's cuz of my awkward hours, least I get moneys. I really hope i get taken on perminantly, but I hope they let me work when I want to e.g. 3 days a week, they can't force me to work more days then I want to and when I start my course I'd just never make it to college for a start.
arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrggggggg, I hate those days. I gt 4 hours tomorrow. not to bad, working 2 to 6.
I got my heel ran over by a cart today
