Professor Layton Fans?

Has anybody else ever played or heard of the Professor Layton game series? For those of you who don't know, Professor Layton is a game where the player must solve puzzles that lead up to a huge mystery. The characters are lovable, and it definitely has the best plot-driven story of any video game that I've ever experienced. The puzzles are a load of fun to do. The game originated in Japan and is now sold in Europe and the US, as well as many other countries. More than 1 in 3 people in Japan who own the Nintendo DS have this game.

I spend so much time playing this game its not even funny! I've completed all the games that have been released in the US so far. The European versions have slightly different names than the US ones.

I would highly recommend checking out this game. I am definitely the biggest fan of the game that I currently know, but if you think that you're a bigger fan than me, add to this topic!

Oh I love those games! I have play the first 2 or 3 I think, but I've fallen behind because I haven't been playing my DS a lot lately. I am a huge puzzle lover! and the art is amazing! Love it <3

lol Yeah High-Five! I was actually just looking at buy the new one the other day, but instead my hubby wanted the marvel/capcom fighting game to beat each other up on, lol. Happy I wish they were available on iphone! I would totally have them all if they were.

Ooh, that would totally be awesome if they were on iPhone! And it makes total sense that your husband wants a fighting game; all men think that way LOL. Which games have you finished so far? The Last Specter is really cool (it's a prequel to the original trilogy), but my favorite is The Unwound Future by far. Although I can't wait for the Mask of Miracle to come out!

What country do you live in, and what game can't you find? Amazon and Ebay offer all of the games, so check there if they can ship to where you live. The games are totally worth it!

I absolutely ADORE all of the games!!!!! I get every single one as soon as it comes out, and, quite frankly, I'm addicted to puzzling. I've completed the stories in every single game released in the US so far, and I'm so excited for the next one... The stories are incredibly detailed, and the video clips are beautifully done, with the art and sound effects. The puzzles are challenging enough without being too frustrating, and the whole series is just WONDERFUL. Oh, I could go on and on.... but I seem to have already done that.

Oh, yeah, and have you heard about the new "Professor Layton VS Phoenix Wright" game that's supposed to be coming out soon?

I'm exactly the same way. I rush out and buy it as soon as it's released. Best video game series ever! And I agree. The puzzles are challenging but not impossible.

And I have heard of "Professor Layton VS Phoenix Wright." It's a little different than the idea of the rest of the series, so I'll have to see reviews once it comes out to find out if its any good. Apparently Phoenix is a character from a separate series.

I love the Professor Layton series and think I've played all of them. I didn't totally finish the most recent one as I borrowed it from a friend. Luke irritates me though ;)
