Is it a full on musical? We were thinking about going to it tonight but my mum hates musicals.

I think it's not really Sound of Music musicals
If it was I'd totally be there with bells on

it's a bit of a gruesome musical i think so I bet it'd be more entertaining than yer average.

It is a dark musical. I doubt the whole thing is singing. But it looks freaking awesome, and my bf told me that it was great. However she's a theatre major and she loves musicals. I bet you could find out by looking on imdb.com (internet movie database)

I'm so excited about seeing it! I love musicals (like Phantom of the Opera, real ones, not like Mama Mia) and it's Johnny Depp and Tim Burton and about a murderer. I've read loads on it and it looks so great

We ended up not watching it, we napped instead lol

The one thing I do know is that they chopped out the group songs, that means, it's only Johnny and Helena or the main people, not just the regular street folks joining in for a sing song, like in the play.

I do love Johnny and Burton, but as of late neither have impressed me with their wares Happy

I don't like Burton. There I've said it. But sweeney todd was good I'm rather into my musicals atm although none better then Bigger, Longer, and Uncut

Yeah, I love the way it looked. I really liked their costumes too, especially their beach and picnic wear.

There was a trailer for Mamma Mia before Sweeney Tod and it looked awful - maybe you'd like it narrator.

It was alright; like narrator I - perhaps embarassingly - really quite like musicals but I don't think the music and the plot gelled well at all. The visuals were excellent but the sound really didn't do what it needed to.

Enjoyable, but a missed opportunity I think.

I saw the mamma mis trailer and before the songs all kicked in i shouted rather too loud "Oh fuck they've made mamma mia". I think I;ll stick with the rocky horror or chicago
