True Blood

I love this show, and have read all the books, but it bugs me that there's so much graphic sex/nudity in it. My favorite characters are Sam, Lafayette, and Eric. I'm so glad they've brought Queen Sophie-Anne and cousin Hadley in!

I think they are! Lots of fans of both think so, too, but the show stands well in its own right. The books have different things going on in them, because Allan Ball decided to write new twists and turns with the series, so that it would still surprise the book fans.

I love True Blood, can't wait for series three! Lafayette is probably my favourite.

I started reading the books and hated them; I don't really like Sookie, and they're from her perspective, so hearing her drone on and on was just too much for me haha. I'm gonna stick with the series.

I'm actually doing a presentation on True Blood soon =)

I love True Blood. I've read the books too. Most of the people I know who've read the books though hated the show. I like them as seperate but same stories, does that make sense?

I saw the first two seasons and I just finished reading the first book. I agree with Kristen; they are both two good versions of the same story. I am very much awaiting the third season as well!

I started reading the books yrs ago, in '04 i think? oh well, I love them a lot better than the show. It's my favorite books ive ever read. I about peed myself when i heard about the show. lol XD

Eric in the show is freakin fantastic. He was born to be eric. lol <3 Him and Pam crack me up.
The only thing that really pisses me off about the show is Sookie. I think they make her look really stupid in the show ...and shes a strong, intelligent, hero woman in the book. Its really gettin on my nerves. & i really wish they put "Bubba" in the show. I wanted to see him. Otherwise ...its just fun to watch lol.

I cant wait to meet the new characters in the seasons coming up. ^_^ Like the werewolves. Alcide, Calvin Norris, Quinn ...hot men tehehee. Happy

ahh i love the books, more then the show actually.
haha i like eric in the books more.
i wish they would have stayed more along the lines of the books in the last episodee -_- haha

Yeah, i dont know them by real names (the characters from true blood) but Alcide, Hoyt, Andy bellefleur, and Pam actors' have been on there.
