website help

im building my own website so that i can sell me and my friends work.
any suggestions?

I use yola and I know a few people who use weebly. I personally like yola though and they offer a free basic website and you can pay extra if you get your own domain name or want more whistles and bells.

check out www.w3schools.com. you can learn so much about html and css, nothing is more empowering than really making it from scratch (mind you its laborious, and im still very new at it myself.) Dreamweaver+ online tutorials are another great tool. id stay away from sites like wix.com because ive experimented with them and find that the quality isnt great, they often auto-'resize for web' images which left me really unsatisfied. Tumblr themes are great and easy to edit, and i also hear good things about wordpress. great luck! take your time, it is a 'forever' huge work in progress to upkeep your own site.
