What are you itching to make?
Monika
The frame sounds good, I just tried soaking some pieces of paper in a bottle of water for 24 hours to make a pulp (as some instructions i had) but nothing has happened ;(
Any Idea's?

I used a blender to make pulp. Here's how I used to do it: soak paper scraps in a large bin of water for 10 minutes (or even overnight if the paper is very thick). Blend with plenty of water, 1 small aspirin pill, and a dime-sized amount of paper glue. The aspirin prevents molding and preserves the paper, and the glue will help with bonding. Once you use a blender for papermaking, you don't want to use it for food again.
If I make paper this summer, I'll make sure to post a tutorial
I just have to get through tonight and tomorrow afternoon until I can be back at my craft station to mod more shirts! I got 2 tank tops to stencil band logos on, and shirts to make the half & half shirt I want to make. I got a twist front tank that I'm adding chains to for some cool detail.
Summer is going to be tough. I spend half the week at my apartment and the other half at my fiance's mom's house. @.@
See I want to make something with some empty limited edition jean Paul gautier coke bottles made from aluminium. I was thinking they might be cool as the neck of a lamp or something but not 100% sure yet.
Thanks Monika I will have to buy a blender for pulping this week x
Tracy- That really does help, I thought of the pear shape after a I asked if bust and hip are the same... That would be hour glass, I think I may be a pear.... but! My hips are narrow, but bigger than my bust... I will look up those shapes! I am totally interested in this shapes and measurements... The face part is interesting.. I have an oval or long face too.. hmmm
"Watermellons" that is funny. I get called the leader of the Itty Bitty Titty Committee.. :/ I guess we all really have to make adjustment to store bought clothes, they are just a general human template... lol But a good question now is....!!!! My hips are always fitting in jeans but I always have to wear a belt because they can't stay on my waist and I get CRACK so bad!!! I think it is so nasty and trashy, but my butt always wants to see what's going on... how do you fix jeans to stop doing this so you may forego a belt...?
or they fit on my thighs and fall down the hips, because that's the way that jeans are made now hipsters...? Ahh Clothes! Why can't we be naked!? There caertainly would be no wars! Couldn't kill a helpless naked man...lol
I'm itching to try my hand with air dry clay to see what cut little trinkets I can make but I literally have NO experience in it and my actual design flare is a little lacking...
Besides that I am itching to make some more items for an upcoming craft fair. Little bits that I've seen on this site and have added to my To-Do list. I've just satisfied one of the itches and made a Finn and Jake brooch
I have the same problem with jeans falling off my waist when they fit my hips, but I LOVE belts. I think if you make small darts in the waistband you can fix the bumcrack issue though!
Yeah, my friends joke that all of my bras are boulder holders, lol. Sadly it can't be far from the truth because I have had straps on my bras and some woven tank tops just tear off! =/ And jogging is a nightmare because it's like a basketball game going on under my shirt. >.< You are not cursed if you have a smaller bust, trust me. If people make fun of you, it's probably just jealousy because back pain sucks!!
Lauren, be sure to get a blender that has a price low enough that you won't feel bad about ruining it.
Claire--lamps sound so cool!
I am thinking about making metal plates (from pop cans) for the fronts of my platform boots. I have so many screws laying around from building my PC last year and I want to use them up, lol.
a cute summer top
@ Krista I've taken to wearing more high waisted items since the fashions have sung back this way and they are easier to get hold of than they used to be (at least in the uk). My fave jeans at the moment are high waisted (I too have to wear a belt), but instead of bum crack issues- I have a crotch pocket problem. Its partly because I lost a little weight since I bought them and partly because I have quite chunky legs from running and walking and I needed the extra fabric on the thighs and calves.
@Monika I had to buy a new sports bra after 2 boys kindly pointed out that I had a very bouncy chest, when I was out running. I use this one called shock absorber which is fantastic and totally passes the jump test. I may be slightly less chesty than you though.
I have several clothing re-structures I'm working on but I'm really itching to finish the chandelier that I am turning into a planter. I have found the perfect bottles for the side arms but I have to wait to collect two more and drag out the tile saw.... (Le sigh) Garden first, then play.
@ Laura: This is a tutorial I did on making seed/plantable paper. I may help a bit:
http://www.cutoutandkeep.net/projects/seedplantable-paper. It was a really cool project!
OMG!!! Monika I totally forget about the bounce rate.... ahhh BURLAP ME PLEASE!!!!!
Libby! Crotch Pocket is fantastic!!! I've never heard it called like that before!!! Lady troubles go much deeper than just clothes!!
Anybody know of a "seamstress comedian" that would be great!
Yeah... I actually have 4 different kinds of sports bras (two are "shock absorbers") and none of them really help... lol. So I've resigned myself to just bicycling and walking, which are much more fun for me anyway, haha.
