Matching socks??? yes or no?

Nice to hear from you Gipsy Moon !

I really don't like matching socks-in fact I find it a total chore.The teen is even less bother by this fussiness.

So yesterday I sat watching him go through an MRI scanner.Sitting there listening to the orchestral version of Metallic's " Nothing else matters".I was feeling like a proud Mum for his excellent, if not eclectic musical taste.The music was playing off his phone to distract him from the bangs and whizzes.
Then it struck me he had odd socks on !
So for the next 20 minutes I sat watching those toes trying desperately not to tap even when Marry the Night by Lady Gaga shuffled on (totally blame his Dad for that one!)
It's amazing the places CO+K threads pop into your head

I never match my socks thats what gives my outfit attention(espically with long socks)im love decora so basically everything i wear is in layers and non matching.

I'm usually too lazy to even wear socks, let alone match them -_-; When I do wear socks, you'll never know what I'll wear, I'll mis match length, fuzzy with non-fuzzy, toe socks with reg. socks it's just what ever two I pull out =}

I used to wear socks that were the same in every way except for the colours, so they would both have stripes and the same length but one would be blue stripes and the other would be pink. Everytime someone would point and say why are you wearing odd socks? I'd tell them they weren't odd they're just different colours.

I read years ago that people who do things such as wearing odd socks are a lot healthier & have a more carefree attitude as they're not tied down by "constraints" of things like matching socks.

My general OCD nuttiness MAKES me fold socks in to pairs however if I have some that have lost their friend I have no objection in wearing odd ones.

I went 1 1/2 years without wearing a single pair that matched!!!!!!!

haha I still don't match them, unless they are AMAZINGLY EPIC enough to be matched. Like my panda socks, made of bamboo. They're awesome enough. ^_^

I have to have matching socks that are at least the same type thickness. I won't wear a thick sock with a thin one or a short one with a knee high.

I think my dad got me into matching socks he color coordinate his outfits, and use to color coordinate mine as a kid.

I have a mix. Some pairs match, some don't. A lot of my socks seem to go missing, so I just put odd socks together Happy
