I've been having a panic about my change in career path (veterinary nursing) because you have to do calculations (they don't seem too hard its not like long division or algabra and with practice every day I should be ok) and I'm allergic to cats but look at this wonderful bit of internet i found!

And it's actually true, I'm worse when I'm around black cats, I've been around very light coloured cats and not been affected at all.

it is possible to only be allergic to certain cats and certain animals. i am only allergic to black cats. i think it has something to do with their dander.

I have a black cat he doesn't have any eyebrows! Is it a long haired black cat your allergic too or short haired ones?

OHOHOH!!!! i just finished my costume for humanities!!!! WOOOOT!!!!

It's not the fur that people are allergic to it's an allergen found in their saliva which turns into dandruff when they lick themselves. Theres more of a reaction to cats with longer fur in people because the dandruff can be disturbed easily if they have long hair. It takes hours to be effected unless I stroke a cat or it runs past fast. Black and dark cats must just produce a lot of the allergen than other colours.

My auntie is more affected by black cats too and I get the cat allergy gene from my auntie.

I just gave in an application form fo my first job! It's for Dominoes(a pizza shop).
Well, I did have other jobs-newspaper round and labelling dog food containers but they don't really count.

I'd been putting it off for ages but then today mum said "After we drop your brother off at your dad's house you can give in your application form." So I just had to do it but I was so nervous! My stomach was churning and I thought I was going to be sick and I nearly bailed at the last minute but then I just handed it in and the lady said thanks and that was it. It was really nothing to worry about!

haha I'm like that, I always get really nervous just asking if they have any jobs! Yet in my first job I didn't even feel nervous on the first day. My first job that I had i didn't even have an interview, they asked if I'd like to do some PR would and I said yes and the next day I did it.

i am allergic to long haired black cats. no other cats that i know of. I used to have a long haired tabby mix but wasn't allergic to her.

We had the school photos today and at recess K@ti went into the toilets and one of the school 'bitches' had a hair starightner and was straightening her hair and another one of them asked to borrow it?!?
I mean seriously- what the hell!!!!!!!!!! and it was only at the begiining of the day. Can you say "vain" ?!?
K@ti rolled her eyes at them and then one of them said something along the lines of "What are you looking at?"

Did anyone watch BBC breakfast news this morning around quarter to 9? There was a report on dyscalculia, which I have, and the viewer that contacted them about it was me (following a report on poor maths in Britain)! They asked me to be a guest on it but I said no.
