I got an ace embroidery magazine yesterday for 99p it comes with thread and a patch, a pattern and transfer paper every week to make a quilt with, cuz its the first issue it came with an embroidery ring and transfer pencil too and I'm subscribing to it cuz I get a load of free stuff haha, I finished the project it came with today Happy

Magazines like that are a total dupe. I still believe that you shouldn't use pre-made patterns for embroidery... but I'll save you the lecture :-p

I know i felt so wrong following someone elses pattern but it's all good fun because I'll learn new stitches. Most people that get this magazine or like cross stitch things must be a little bit creative at least and yet they follow a pattern and stuff! This is more just practice and improving my sewing. It's 2.99 each issue but the second issue is only 1.99 and I get issue 3 free, plus a travel sewing kit, thread tidy, kit to make a nice purse with and those plastic things you can put thread around. Also I am terrible at reading instructions I just look at the pictures and go 'yeh that's what I do' so I've done the first pattern which was a rose and I've not done it like the picture but I dont care cuz i think it looks nicer lol.

this was looooooooooooooooooong over due I hadn't dyed it since last september or something it's a bit too orangey and i wish i'd gone for the pinky red but this one had lightening in it so the next dye will come out it's strongest Happy

thanks roma my roots are really orangey though it looks like tomatoy red when i'm in the light i was so paranoid going to the shop before since its a very sunny day but I still like my hair.

EDIT: I'm redying it with another red dye because it's too orange!

I don't know wether to keep growing my hair, or to just keep it short - some days I really want my hair long again, but other days I want it back to short so that I can do funky things to it and dye it again... currently its sitting on my shoulders, that annoying stage when the only thing I can do with it is put it up... Happy

wow! I re did mine with red and it's not that bright I wish it was as bright as yours in that picture!! I don't know what to do with mine either, I keep having dreams were my hair is like bum length! I can grow my hair to chest length and then I get bored and sick of it, I think I look really plain and boring with long hair unless its got lots of shape or layers.

EDIT: THAT IIIIS IIIT! I'm quitting crochet and knitting I can't make anything I can't follow patterns. Patterns go 'chain 12 stitches plus 3' well why doesn't it say chain 15 fucking stitches!? and then they put instructions in bracets like this pattern goes 'chain 5 (counts as 1tr, ch 2)' WHAT!? how does it count as 1tr and 2 chains when I just chained 5!???? I HATE IT!

Also something I'm annoyed about is this company that are supposed to be helping me get dog grooming training, they were supposed to visit the salon yesterday but they didn't and now I have to wait till next week! This is an impression of them 'la la la your future? what's that? nothing to do with us? la la la *skip* ' I didn't want to quadruple post in the my issues topic lol
