Wow, you've got some great pics Michelle. I really love the Illos folder Happy (not sure what illos means though lol) I especially love the flowers. I think a lot of the pics in that folder would make awesome T-shirts.. Good luck with the job hunt.

thanks, so far not being able to get a job in my feild. They say that I am too much of a fine artist. Which I am a painter and a photographer, that doesn't seem to help me much. Would like a proper design job

Great pics but perhaps you may benefit from more Photoshop work. If you plan on doing more photography, I'd recommend using local pro models, dont just use friends. Put an ad in the local paper or university or something, they'd be glad of the work believe me! The more pics you have the better. x

Small local companies or student unions and societies are always on the lookout for people who can make nice designs for their websites.

Fine art (painting/sculpture) isnt used that much these days unless you get commissioned or work in game design, Photoshop is the most used of all. Even photography isnt is as much demand as it was as companies use Getty Images to get photos.

Find a site that will publish your photos and when people want to downbload them you get a cut of the profits. Check these sites!!!!! x

I don't like to use photoshop, I was trained with film first, and I really hate to use photoshop to work on images, and I am not a web designer. I am a illustrator and pint designer

Even traditional illustrators say for books or magazines usually use photoshop. Its really a good idea to get to grips with it, then when you have more job experience then you can pick and choose what medium you specialise in. The more mediums you have skills in the better tbh mind. Having skills in lots of areas can only be a good thing.

Oooh but children's book illustrators use painters and traditional artists all the time. If you like kids books that is... (i <3 them! Who doesn't really!?) I would totally love to see you illustrate a kids book! ^_^
