Gina- apparently garden.. and its origin is italian. But my friends give it another meaning... I'll let you figure that one out ;)
Alice- truth, noble.. which is greek.. I've pretty much disowned my middle name, so it probably doesnt count
Rowe- one who lived at the hedgerow or in a row of houses built next to one another... great

So Im a noble garden (or part of a female) living at the hedgerow..

My REAL first name Rachel, means Ewe in Hebre....as in female sheep... super awesome I know

but it is also roughly translated into meek,gentle,calm of spirit

My middle name Kay Means Pure in Greek

and my last name Adams is in reference to being Adam's fruit, it also means pure red earth or people of the earth often hard workers and laborers.

I learned something new...neat posts by the way, very jealous of all the pretty names you guys have!

Cyndie (short for Cynthia) means moon goddess or moon woman
I got lucky and my last names both mean the same thing!
my madein name - means Ruler or King
My husbands last name -Means king, Ruler, or big cat.

werid huh?

Also how luna came to be. my daddy thought of the moon when he saw me but my mother wanted cyndie 0o0o0 interesting.

--I've seen that Haley means a 'Hay clearing' or 'hero'... and Nicole means 'people of victory'

I won't put my English name, but my Chinese name is Waiman
Looking up on name websites, it's a misspelled version of a boy's name "Waimen" or "Wayman" (obviously, a failed attempt on my part, especially if looking up just my name without "meanings" attatched brings up a Hong Kong actress)

Asking my parents, the first part means good/great/achieved
The second part means quick or intelligent

I don't know about the asian (or, I guess "real") translations of my last names, but in English, my last name represents an abreviation for an element, and my mom's maiden name is 3.14......
