Over Lock Sewing Machine
Can an overlock sewing machine do the same thing as a regular sewing machine if i only used two threads somewhere? and if so, how?
My regular machine just broke and i have no idea how to fix it, so I was wondering if it was possible to do that
Thank you!

Overlock machines can do plain sewing or straight stitches if you need it too. At least mine can, I've never done it but my manuel explains how.
Yes, your non-serger can help out but you need to remember to disengage your cutting bladde on your serger. And remember on a serger there is no bobbin..so the 2 threads is one for the looper and one for the needle.
Hope that helps a little
