Recycle a blue jean mini skirt

I have blue jean mini skirt that I can no longer zip. I want to make something out of it. Upcycle or recycle it. Any ideas other than a purse or pillow?

If the zip has just failed put Laces along the side and add a Velvet ribbon under the zip and just wear as you used too.

You could also make it into a journal using the back pockets as covers.

Lots of ideas if you google it Happy

You could turn it into an apron. Separate the back from the front, add a waist band to the top, some lace around the sides and bottom, some embellishments, and you have a cute little apron.

Thanks - these are great ideas!!
The zipper works - but let's say the skirt shrunk, ha! I've had it for so many years, I call it "Ole Faithful". I'll let you know what I end up doing with it.

If you still want to wear it, you could move Debs' Lacing to the side seams & pop a couple of 'modesty' panels behind it. Or just panels. You can use lace, other denim, ribbon, in fact pretty much any fabric would work.
