In the Netherlands they sell them at toystores and at the IKEA.
HAMA beads are the same as perler beads.

Maybe Wal-Mart? They reduced their craft section recently but I think they'd still have them.

Not sure if we have Wal-Mart in the UK, i've never seen one!! Thank you dragonfly, i'll look for hama too, living in Wales there's not many craft places to look! Happy

Oh! I just assumed they were everywhere, being the sort of company that it is. :/

ha! no not near me anyway!!
Does anyone know if you can use perler and hama beads/boards together or are they different sizes? i've found some perler on my local craft store site (with free delievery!) but not all the colours i need, and have found the colours in hama beads online, but can they be mixed??

You can try it, but you don't know in advance if they melt at the same time/heat. My friend had some old perlerbeads, but the project I made with those and new HAMA beads was ruined. Because the old perlerbeads melted before the HAMA beads.
Normally they have the same size.

They're called Hama beads in the UK. You can get them in WHSmiths, though they're quite expensive, or Ikea which is lovely and cheap.
Good Luck
