Plastic Toy Earrings/ Jewelry

I have some plastic toys I would like to make earrings out of. Can anyone tell me how to do this? I am not sure how to drill the hole or what to use to attach the plastic toy to the hook earring.

The search engine isn't working for me tonight. If there is already a tutorial...I apologize.

Depending on the size and durability of the toy, I would recommend using a small drill. Black & Decker makes a very nice battery-powered, small handheld drill that usually costs less than $10. A 1/16th inch drill bit makes a decent size hole.

To attach the toy to the earring hook, use a metal jump ring that's the appropriate size.

thanks so much, I hadn't take the durability into account. Hmmm. I am wondering if they will hold up. I will give it a shot.

Hi. I've put a link here for a previous request for linking toys. It's for a necklace but the principles are the same.

Hope it's useful Happy

if the plastic isn't really hard you can heat up the end of a saftey pin and poke it right through and jump rings and perfect for attatching them...hope this helps
