I've always altered my clothes, like take in my pants, add patches, sew designs, or REALLY completely alter things, but I've never made anything from total scratch, and I really want to. The easiest thing [that I actually want to do] seems to be an A-line dress, and I was inspired by a submittion on here for an anchor printed dess.

that, and candle-making, because my mom LOVES candles, and I really want to make some of those ice-candles for her Happy

I really want to do silk painting. Start with scarves and things then try and find a cheap silk dress online. I don't know how hard it is to do, but it's probably expensive!

I'm feeling really creative at the moment but have nothing to make =(

I can't think of anything I want to try but I'd love to have the facilities at home to make ceramics and batik.

I want to try resin projects. But it seems like I wont have the patience to wait for it to dry and cure. I also would like to try my hand in drawing comics..i use to do that in high school but never finished because of the whole patience thing. Knitting looks like it could be fun...but might be fatal if I have one of my clumsy episodes and fall on those sharp things o.o!!! lol

Ooh drawing is fun! I've been trying to learn to draw anime/manga things, but i have a very thin patience. So I definately understand that bit! I get easily frustrated, so I only do it every once in a blue moon, but sometimes they turn out decently!! I'd also like to learn watercolor - i got a book for my birthday last year on making watercolor faerie paintings - that would be fun! ^_^

I would really like to be able make my own soap, but I am kind of afraid of working with lye. It's explosive! I also really want to learn how to knit.

Yes, it is! We used to do that a bit - and my step-dad had lye burn right through his shoe! So watch out! But as long as you're careful, it's fun! And there's plenty of books that will help ya make all kinds of nifty designsand shapes! Happy

now that i honestly don't know. Unless of course you go to Michael's or something or pick up a soapmaking kit! I did one once - they're still lots of fun....and less dangerous! ... which is always nice. Happy

Yeah, one of these days I am going to make it. I will just be sure to wear lye-proof shoes when I do! I think for now I may start out experimenting with the melt and pour soaps and just add some colors and stuff. It's probably not as much fun, but it's safe.
