Well we should wait a bit for a few of these other swaps to wrap up. I know I am super swammped right now, lol. You should see the stack of packages that I have to send out this week! haha I know were starting the Destash #2 and then right after that is the Matchbox #2 also.

So maybe like the last week of July? That also gives everyone a bit of time to mess around try to make one for the first time. (annnnnd I have more family visiting for the middle two weeks of July, lol. So I'll be busy at the beach!)

Do you think thats too long to wait? Also Should we start a sign up right now or wait a bit?

Last week in July sounds like a good plan.I'd wait for signing ups less likely to get people dropping out.

I realllyy like the idea of these!! They are so cute and simple, yet they can all be so different from eachother!
I would love to try out the swap :] and anytime late July is good for me. That Halloween idea would definitely be awesome too.. you could make the doll literally into anything! haha Happy
but starting off simple sounds better to me :x
I really like your first one too Pam! so cute

<3

*edit* as I writing this I started to look them up and found some reallly cute ones! some people make really intricate ones and some people make really basic and simple ones.
I also saw like smaller ones, almost mini..

here's one with a cupcake theme:

ALSO, I had another thought: for the second destash swap, I think I'd like to put together a DIY Dotee Doll set in the package.. kind of like how Debs sent me the ATC and Inchies templates Happy

I think Sally's idea is great-I'm certainly up for a Dotee kits swap.

She needs her tail and the eye completed. You'll all get to see the results in a few weeks.Pam I couldn't go home without the cloth.Currently on sale at J store.

She's a bit skinny and I generally like to have my seams on the outside so I'll run with that next time.

These are so versatile. My current challenge is to make Black and White Christmas ornaments.Made some white papercloth yesterday and was struggling with the form for them. Now I can get the job done. Thanks for the heads up.

I love it! She is a cutie Happy
Here is the one I am making a tutorial for. I figured this second body style would be easy to change the little things and have it come out as a diferent theme doll

I'm just using regular cotton fabric, like for quilting. And the face is unbleached cotton. Happy
