Slouchy/Harem Pants

I'm including some links because I've been asking everyone I know about these things for any sort of idea how to make them, and everyone I've asked insofar is like "slouch what?" Not slouch-what: slouchy pants! They're made of draping material and kind of remind you of the pants all the characters wear in disney aladin. Ha.

This first one is a pair of somewhat fitted harem pants. Not the baggy, highwaisted, ankle exposing pants your grandma wears on hot summer days.

I used to have a picture of it on my old laptop but that thing got tossed awhile ago but my dreams of the slouchy pants remained!

I bet one of you, maybe all of you amazingly crafty people, yes you are just so amazing and you're like "yeah, I totally know what this person is talking about! I'm going to post a tutorial with DETAILED instructions right away so even a sewing delinquent like her can make these totally delicious pants" or something like that. That's all I'm asking for. Really, is it too much to ask? Ha.

Hi, have you seen salwar Kameez (Shalwar Kameez) ? These are Indian/Punjabi suits. The Shalwar (trousers) are simular to the harem pants

There are loads of designs and pattern types.

The one I've seen most is a wide rectangle that goes from the waist to the hip. The legs are tubes that can be shaped. There are 4 triangles that are joined to make the crotch & the ankles are usually reinforced with bukram (a very stiff interfacing). These usually have a thick drawstring pajarma tie.
